Community Impact Bucks at Micklefest – Have your say!
Make It Happen!
Amy is new to the area, and recently started working for local charity Community Impact Bucks, who are on a mission to to making volunteering in Bucks easy and helping local communities be the best they can be. In her first year she has been set the task of getting to know Micklefield, Totteridge and Bowerdean and hearing about all the great things the area has to offer.
The Make it Happen Scheme is designed to help Amy to understand you, what is important to you, and link you up with other people who live near you and want to achieve the same things for Micklefield, Totteridge and Bowerdean. During the festival there will be a ‘design a logo’ competition for the young ones (or older ones!) and the winning design will become the official logo for your Make It Happen area! We will also be collecting suggestions and ideas for what you want to see in your area, and giving away tasty treats of course! More than anything, Amy just really likes a good old fashioned chat over a cuppa and a cake!
